Our History
In today’s rapidly evolving world, industries no longer seek professionals with limited, single-domain expertise. They value individuals who are versatile, adaptable and equipped with multidisciplinary skills aligned with their abilities and passions. While many institutions are only now adopting choice-based learning under the NEP 2020, IACG (International Academy of Computer Graphics) recognized this need as early as 2002.
With a strong vision to take Indian stories to the global stage, IACG was initiated by passionate Alumni of BITS Pilani, combining technical excellence with creative ambition. As a pioneer in creative education, IACG introduced India’s first full-time Graduation and Post-Graduation programs in Multimedia. With a strong focus on industry integration, our flexible education model allows students to explore multiple creative fields during the first two years before specializing in Animation, VFX, Filmmaking, MTL, Gaming, Art & Design or Graphic Design based on their interests and ability.
IACG functions as an Industrial Academy, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application. Through live projects, industry collaborations and a dedicated production pipeline, students gain practical exposure and hands-on experience. Our final-year incubation program further enhances their ability to work within industry-standard workflows, making them job-ready from day one.
In 2024, IACG extended its vision to younger learners by launching innovative Intermediate Programs, blending advanced skill training with concept-based, practical learning. Moving away from rote memorization, the focus is on real-world problem-solving and nurturing creativity from an early stage.By continuously aligning education with industry demands, IACG remains at the forefront of creative learning-shaping passionate individuals into confident, capable professionals ready to lead in the global creative economy.
