From stunning cosplays and original character designs to interactive art displays and fan-favorite creations, our presence at Comic Con is a celebration of pure creativity and passion. It’s a platform where students showcase their talents, connect with industry professionals, and experience the pulse of global pop culture. We’re proud to share that in 2024, IACG students won medals and cash prizes, making it a memorable milestone in our creative journey.

Highlights
- Mr. Alok wowed the audience with his portrayal of Black Myth Wukong, earning a ₹50,000 cash prize and an award in the Game category.
- Ms. Brundavani’s intricate and elegant Smiling Lee costume won the Needlework category, showcasing her attention to detail.
- Mr. Shashank’s commanding performance as Grim Reaper brought home an award in the Fiction Comic category
- Mr. Leeladhar Jangir’s epic portrayal of War Hammer secured him a ₹50,000 cash prize in the Game category, impressing both the crowd and the judges.
- Mr. Manchi Rohith earned accolades for his portrayal of Loki – Ragnarok, winning in the Needlework category for his immaculate craftsmanship.
- Mr. Vedant Sunil Gunjekar captivated the crowd as Jack Sparrow, winning in the Movie & Television category with his lifelike performance and iconic swagger.
Adding to the festivities, the IACG stall was a hub of excitement and innovation throughout the event:
- Interactive Demonstrations: Visitors engaged in live demos of 3D modeling, digital painting, and animation processes, gaining insight into the creative workflows of IACG students.
- Showcase of Talent: Stunning digital artworks, intricate animation displays, and cutting-edge game designs showcased the unparalleled skills of IACG’s students.
- A Networking Hotspot: The stall brought together professionals, students, and enthusiasts, fostering discussions about the future of multimedia arts.
With six awards and two ₹50,000 cash prizes, Comic Con Hyderabad 2024 was a landmark event for IACG. The achievements of Mr. Alok, Ms. Brundavani, Mr. Shashank, Mr. Leeladhar Jangir, Mr. Manchi Rohith, and Mr. Vedant Sunil Gunjekar reflected the college’s commitment to nurturing creative excellence. Students from Animation, VFX, Gaming, Film-making, Art & Design, Graphic Designing, and CGA programs showcased their talent, innovation, and passion, further elevating IACG’s reputation as a hub of multimedia arts.
As Comic Con Hyderabad 2024 concluded, IACG’s students proved that they are not only ready to lead the industry but also to inspire the next generation of creative leaders.
