Global Connections

Korean Arts University based in Seoul, South Korea, is a global leader in creative education. Offering over 1,000 courses across six schools and the Faculty of Arts and Liberal Studies, K’Arts provides a vibrant academic environment. During our campus visit, we had the privilege of engaging in knowledge-sharing sessions and exploring opportunities for cultural and student exchange programs.

SF Film School is a top institution in South Korea, known for its advanced training in VFX, CGI and filmmaking. Ranked 11th in the world by The Rookies in 2022, it has worked on major projects in Hollywood and Korean entertainment. IACG students were excited to explore the school, learn from its creative environment and return with valuable experiences and lasting memories.

LASALLE College of the Arts, a premier institution in Singapore, is renowned for its excellence in Contemporary Art, Design, Film and Animation. The college has played a key role in shaping creative professionals who contribute to top global projects in the Art and Entertainment industry. Our visit to the college not only gave us an insight into their innovative and advanced technology, but also showcased a vibrant ecosystem that nurtures original thinking. We explored how their curriculum seamlessly blends artistic exploration with real-world application. The commitment to fostering global-ready talent was evident in every studio, lab and classroom we stepped into.

Kyoto Seika University, a prestigious Japanese institution since 1968, is renowned for its excellence in Manga, Anime, Visual Arts and traditional Japanese arts. Its alumni have contributed to over 80% of globally acclaimed Manga and Anime projects, making it a hub of creativity and innovation. Through a student and knowledge exchange program, IACG students explored Japan’s rich artistic heritage, engaged with expert faculty and experienced the unique blend of tradition and modernity. Seika’s students and faculty also visited IACG, appreciating our student works and fostering mutual creative inspiration

HAL Tokyo, part of the prestigious HAL Institutes in Japan, is the largest vocational school for creative and digital arts in the country. Renowned for its excellence in Game Development, Animation, CG, ESports and Digital Media Arts, HAL Tokyo maintains a strong industry focus and has contributed to cutting-edge projects in gaming, VFX and interactive technology. IACG students had an inspiring experience exploring HAL’s advanced studios, engaging with industry professionals and gaining valuable insights into Japan’s innovative digital arts education.
